Now before everyone gets their panties in a bunch, no we didn’t buy a coffin for Grandma. But she is going to be stiff real soon! We’ve been waiting to get our ’78 Malibu over to the chassis shop so we can get her 555 Musi engine installed shortly.

We put the entire TRZ front suspension and QA1 shocks in last week, and now this showed up!

Today we got the roll cage from Chassis Engineering for Project Grandma and we should be sending the old gal off to get it installed very soon. We just have to clean out the over 30 years of crap throughout the car. Being that BJ is of an older age, I thought that he would be best to really get in there and show this lady one good last time before we sent her off. But BJ’s cleaning lasted all of 2 mins before he came out and said “Wow that is one dirty girl.” Trying to set aside the massive amounts of jokes that could have been said, I just went and ahead and decided to lend a hand. After the roll cage is in the car it shouldn’t be long before we drop that monster 555 ci Pat Musi/Edelbrock engine in it. Now I just have to come up with a way to sleep at night waiting for it to happen!
