One thing that really reminds us of the freedoms we have as Americans is the Corvette–big, fast, loud, and costly, they tend to attract a certain customer with a discerning eye and taste for excitement, especially when it’s a 2015 model.

Unfortunately, nobody gets an award or special treatment on the road when they drive off the dealership lot in a Corvette. Just like any other car in the US of A, they have to navigate decades-old roads, nervous and unpredictable drivers, dangerous weather conditions, or just plain bad luck.

We’re not sure which of those factors came into play concerning this particular yellow C7, but speculation from CorvetteBlogger.com can lend us some insight. Judging by pictures taken by r1jester.com, we know that the large ceramic brakes by Brembo mark this as a Z07.

It seems to be that the Vette seen here was the same one that took frontal damage on the Nürburgring not too long ago. That Corvette was also painted in Velocity Yellow, making the argument for pure coincidence seem a lot less valid.

The tow truck is owned by Ruehle’s Towing, a business that operates out of Mount Clemens to the northeast of Detroit by about 28 miles, and the photos were taken on the I-90 heading east. All in all, nothing that couldn’t be done in about six to seven hours of driving in traffic.
