We love seeing what the crew at Chris Alston’s Chassisworks designs for the Pro-Touring crowd. Once the Chassisworks guys get their products out into the hands of the car enthusiasts or dealers, we really get a chance to see what these kits are made of. That is the case with this video.
AÂ Chassisworks dealer, Ultimate Restorations of Danbury, Conneticut, made and posted this quick video walk-around of the Chassisworks’ Billet g-Link rear suspension on a ’68 Camaro.
You can tell that the Ultimate Restoration crew is going for a sleek look with modern technology. They even show the door handles removed and the mounting holes filled in. We assume that they will be adding electric door openers which brings the modern tech to that particular area.Â
The suspension is what we were interesting in seeing and the video quickly moves to the Chassisworks 9-inch rearend. The rearend is mounted in the chassis with a four link set-up. The rear end is also outfitted with air bags, which will make this combination a real technological advancement over the stock suspension.Â
Here’s hoping that the crew gets the assembly done soon and invites us out to give it a go around the block.
