Sitting pretty and having the perfect stance, this classic truck is a stellar piece of work. Posted on YouTube, respect the greatness of this 1950 Chevy 3100 pickup truck that’s incredible inside and out.
Patina’d and adorned with its original chrome bumpers, this custom truck is solid front to back. Out back is a completely-refinished vintage floor in the bed, which has the luster and look of boards on a basketball court.
Under the hood rests a small-block 350 V8 that includes ceramic-coated headers, and is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The frame is original, but is enhanced with a Mustang II suspension, and managed by an air suspension system that lets you ride high or low with this custom truck.
There are also switches to control each corner of the truck, allowing for a square or raked stance, depending on your taste. Stopping power is provided by a front disc, rear drum brake system that is hidden behind black powder-coated wheels wrapped with Coker white wall rubber.
Heading inside, the truck has a plush red bench seat, and an elaborate dash layout that is clean and classy. The pinstriping, which is placed strategically on the dash, adds more custom flair to the package.
The truck may have been named ‘Crisco’ but we’d like to think it’s more crispy than anything else, for its simplistic, but eye catching appeal. What are your thoughts of this custom truck? Would you have done it any different? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
