It’s not uncommon for singers/songwriters, actors or even TV show personalities to have collections of classic cars, but some of the most interesting vehicles come from artists that are a bit lesser known, especially in the classic car world. Such is the case with YelaWolf and his classic Chevy truck.

Just recently, the rap artist released a new single set to be part of his “Love Story” album out this May, and fittingly enough, the song features YelaWolf’s beloved Chevy truck. Check out the music video and YelaWolf’s unique ride above.
Born Michael Wayne Atha, YelaWolf is a hip hop/ rap artist from Gadsden, Alabama who has been on the scene since 2005.Originally an independent artist, Yelawolf has been signed to Interscope records and Eminem’s record label, Shady Records in the last few years and even started his own record label Slumerica, pushing him to the top of his career thus far. But more importantly than his current employers is YelaWolf’s love of classic cars, especially Chevrolets.
In his new song “Box Chevy V,” YelaWolf sings of his passion for the Bowtie brand, even including his unique truck built by Jonny Emerick in the subsequent music video. As the title suggests, this is the fifth addition to Yelawolf’s Box Chevy song collection. Lyrics for the GM-minded songs feature references to Monte Carlos, Caprices, Malibus, Impalas, and of course, Yelawolf’s affinity for Chevy trucks. Check out all of YelaWolf’s Box Chevy singles here.
