While we are all ultimately here for our passion of the automobile, specifically the Corvette, we need to remember that there are those who are less fortunate. The importance of helping others should never wean regardless, but when we can combine that with one of our own passions, it really makes the process that much more rewarding.

If you are a Corvette lover, we don’t need to tell you this is one great example of a C2 Sting Ray. There were 22,940 Corvettes produced this year, and were sold at $4,240 in the base-model configuration. The bulge in the hood was unique to the big-block cars but was redesigned into a scoop for this year, and the parking brake was changed to a center-mounted lever. This 427-ci motor featured solid lifters and was the last offered with fuel injection for 15 years, until 1982.
There are so many great Corvettes out there to choose from, but the C2 generation Vettes are well loved by the masses. If we were to pick a classic Corvette to cruise the roads with, top down, on a warm summer night, it doesn’t get much better then this. While the current value of this car may be up to interpretation due to restoration and the amount of existing original hardware, it is worth mentioning that this car is worth well over $100,000 more then it cost when originally sold. Not a bad investment!
So why not pick up a few tickets? Â There are a lot of families out there that could use our help, and lending a hand is important when you have the means. That being said, one lucky winner will be driving away one awesome Vette and a bag of cash!
