If you are a regular to this site, you are more than likely familiar with the story of the El Camino, but for just a second indulge us. The El Camino was known as being a coupe utility vehicle. In other words it’s not a pick-up, it’s not a wagon, and it’s not a Bel-Air, but yet this vehicle combines luxury with practicality, that is, unless you need to seat more than three. Regardless, the El Camino has the cult following that can easily rival any muscle car. And when you look at cars like this early ’59 El Camino it’s easy to see why. 

Let’s dive into what makes this car what it is. This ’59 El Camino is a rare find as it has a 348 cubic inch Tri-Power big-block engine that produces 280 hp with solid lifters and has a 4-speed manual transmission bolted to it. 

As for the exterior, it does not disappoint. The paint is a beautiful Classic Cream. With a front bumper guard, fender skirts, and the wide whitewall tires, this beauty takes on the luxurious look capable of the El Camino. The full set of hubcaps with factory spinners and EZ1 tinted glass adds just enough flair without going over the top.

The interior appears to be black vinyl and even has a power seat. Factory power steering and power brakes will make this a smooth ride. The listing claims to be a concourse restoration so you can expect this car to be 100% perfect in every way down to every nut and bolt… It’s not like anyone has ever been burnt by a beefed up listing.
