When you think about the scope of amazing Chevrolets all around the globe, it’s easy to see how hard it could be to see each and every one of them. But, thanks to the internet, you can highlight YOUR Chevrolet car or truck as one of our Reader’s Ride spotlights! Every other Thursday, we’ll spotlight another installment of reader-submitted Chevys.
We're looking for cars and trucks to highlight, as well as muscle cars, vintage racers, and later-model rides. Show us what you've got!
We love to see other enthusiast’s rides, no matter where they are in the build process, or if you’re simply enjoying them as they currently are. The best part is that all we need are a few photos and some information about you, and your Chevy. That said, the more info and images you submit, the more we can show your car to the rest of our readers.
Let the images help tell the story of your Chevy. Whether found in a barn or in the midst of a frame-off refreshing, we'd like to tell the story about your car. Photos help us do that.
And please, when you’re taking those photos, make sure to use a “landscape” format (turn the phone horizontally and fill the frame with your car). That will fill the frame with your car, not the grass or sky. Here’s a quick story we ran a while ago showing six tips for getting those perfect photos of your car. Don’t worry if you don’t have gobs of camera gear either. Cell phone pics will work just fine if that’s what you’ve got. As the story states, “the best camera for the job is the one you have,” even if it’s the one you use to call your friends or surf ChevyHardcore.com.
Show us those interior and underhood shots as well.
Feel free to impress us with your photography style and/or include some local highlights to help set the location. If there’s some cool stuff near you, feel free to share it, but remember, your car is the star! Photos are also a great way to tell the history of your ride. Use them to help show how long you’ve owned the car. We love seeing you all in bellbottoms or those groovy leisure suits! Or if you’ve done a lot of the work on your car, feel free to share some build pictures you took along the way. We love seeing the transformation process of your rides.
These two boys are now 39 and 42 years old. This one-owner Monte has been part of the family for a long time. THAT’s a cool Chevy story!
Whether you’ve got photos of Elvis and Bigfoot riding around in your car, or documentation of every nut and bolt being installed, we’ll need some nice, clean photos that we can use in the story. Be sure to wipe off those cellphone lenses and keep your fingers outta the way so we can see the whole car.
