Turbosmart’s new Wastegate Sensor Cap adds data logging capability to its highest flowing blow-off valve, taking the guesswork out of tuning by allowing you to ‘see’ exactly what the valve is doing, and when. The Turbosmart Wastegate Sensor Cap provides a window into the wastegate, so there is no need to guess. You can log the wastegate valve position and know exactly what it is doing in relation to other engine operating conditions. For example, you can see at X RPM, your valve lifts Y much, which results in Z boost pressure. No uncertainty, just hard data. This is the first product of its kind on the market and it is super easy to install. By simply changing out the cap, the user adds a valve position sensor to their standard Turbosmart gate. The cap is compatible with a wide range of popular data loggers (MoTec, RacePak, AIM, etc), utilizes a simple zero to five volt sensor found in many auto parts store (or available directly from Turbosmart), and it is an off the shelf item. It is available for all current Turbosmart wastegate sizes, including: 38 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 50 mm, and 60 mm.
