The vacation destination for classic car lovers? Southern California? One of the huge classic car runs in the deep south such as Cruisin’ The Coast that goes down in the Biloxi, Mississippi area? Detroit, Michigan’s cruise nights? That’s been done. It’s Cuba, man.

The people of Cuba had nothing else but the American automobiles they were left with and they had to do their very best to preserve what they had. And do their best they did. There are 50’s vintage Chevys, as well as other makes of classic cars, still rolling around on every street, used for personal transportation and as taxis.

The pair are seen engaging in a love of cigars, Hemingway and the joy of finding treasures such as a beautiful red Chevy “Triple” hidden under a cover tucked away in a carport, and a drive in a near perfect resto’ Pontiac convertible taxi.
