We can only imagine what it must be like to live on the same street as this guy – for the sake of his older neighbors, hopefully he doesn’t start this machine before noon on any given day, especially weekends. This Camaro, from the big cowl hood to the huge rear meats, simply screams big – and that’s exactly what we expect anytime we see a Texas license plate on a car. We can only imagine the actual thunder inside the house when the car is warming up inside the garage – a tolerant wife and kids are an absolute must with a car like this.Â
A BDS-blown big-block rests between the fenders of the eye-popping purple Pro Streeter, and we get a nice walkaround of the car while it’s running – there’s just something about that blower whine that makes your ears perk up, the blood start pumping more quickly, and the adrenaline flow throughout the veins.
The Billet Specialties Street Lite wheels set off the exterior nicely, but perhaps the most telling item on the whole car is the big, shiny set of chrome balls hanging underneath the license plate. We especially like the cat’s eyes decals (perhaps paint?) on the bugcatcher, too.
Everything about the car seems to be clean, from under the hood to the interior, and while the exhaust note gives a hint of what’s to come, the ride-along towards the very end of the lead video is perhaps the best part. Pay close attention around 4:21, and you’ll see what we mean. That was our reaction too. Four-plus minutes of supercharged fun – what better way to perk up your day?
