If you’re a GM A-body owner or enthusiast there is no other event like Chevellabration to celebrate your interest. Held this year at Moss-Wright Park in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, the event offered everything you as a Chevelle enthusiast could ever want from a traditional car show and more, with the only cars on hand being of the A-body variety. After the event was over, we recapped it for those of you who weren’t able to attend and now we bring you a video from event sponsor Detroit Speed, Inc.  that gives you an overview of what all three days at Chevellabration were like. This year’s Chevellabration was held from June 6th through the 8th and brought out hundreds of GM A-bodies, from popular Chevelles and El Caminos to the less-seen Sprints and Beaumonts. We even spotted a couple Chevelle Wagons in the mix! Chevellabration is open to all of these models from 1964 to 1987 and offers plenty of vendors, activities and bench racing to go around.

In addition to the car show, Chevellabration has followed suit with a pro-touring favorite for the past few years, offering an autocross competition.

Here experienced track goers and newbies alike can test their skills as well as their car’s handling capabilities in a safe and legal arena. Special evening drag races were also offered at the Nashhville Dragstrip. And if you weren’t old enough to drive at this year‘s event, well, there were also pedal car and Hot Wheels racing to participate in.

Chevellabration looks like a hoot of a good time for anyone that’s into Chevelles and their A-body sisters. Held just outside of Nashville every June, this is definitely an event that should be on every car-lover’s “to attend” list.
